A Note from the Founder
Technology Over Manual Labour
When I arrived in Dubai, I was struck by a significant gap in the market. Even large-volume fabricators were operating entirely on manual labour — an approach that simply cannot deliver the precision manufacturing that modern architecture demands.
Most recently, we have implemented AI technology that reads architectural drawings far faster than manual processes, enabling accurate and rapid quoting. We are now bringing this capability to the UAE.

Our manufacturing facility is located in Al Qusais Industrial Area 4, Dubai. We fabricate and install premium aluminium windows, doors, sliding systems, and curtain walls for projects across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and the wider UAE. Our sister company A1 Metal Coating, also in Dubai, handles all powder coating in-house to Qualicoat and GSB standards.
What aluminium systems do you fabricate in the UAE? +
We fabricate and install systems from Schüco, Alumil, Cortizo, and Gulf Extrusions, as well as our own LDN Systems brand. This includes thermally broken casement windows, tilt-and-turn windows, lift-and-slide doors, folding doors, curtain wall facades, and entrance door systems. All systems are IFT Rosenheim tested and certified for performance in the Gulf climate.
How is LAA different from other aluminium fabricators in Dubai? +
We bring over 20 years of UK fabrication experience through our parent company Direct Trade Windows Ltd. Unlike many local fabricators that rely on manual processes, our Dubai factory uses 4-axis CNC machining, automated thermal break crimping, and Logikal estimation software for precision manufacturing. We also use AI-powered drawing analysis for faster, more accurate quoting — capabilities most UAE fabricators don’t offer.
